 AUTISM HOUR - Every Month

UDAAN for the Differently Abled at Delhi, Akhil Autism Foundation of USA, CCAW New Delhi and Dr. Praveen Saxena  Center for  Progressive Medicine of Hyderabad, are joining hands to set up an AUTISM HOUR with the help of Medical Academy of Special Needs kin each month with INTERACTIVE Audio-Video Webinars for one hour EVERY 2nd Saturday, Jan 12th 2013, from 8.30 PM Indian Standard Time to 9.30 PM Indian Standard Time, corresponding to morning in USA and afternoon in UK. The proceedings will be recorded and telecast 12 hours later.

Logistics

  • The webinar will cover one important topic each month, e.g. parenal diagnosis, clinical diagnosis, clinical assessment, biochemical assessment, standard rehabilitation, dietetics, micronutrient support, MB12, chelation, hbot, stem cell therapy, and so on.
  • The main speaker will be one of the world's foremost authorities, and a member of MAPS (See www.medmaps.org)
  • The panelists will facilitate asking the specialist speaker relevant questions or topics to be explained, and where necessary, translate it into lay-persons language, including in Indian language, for the audience to understand better.
  • The audience will need a broad band Internet connection and a microphone.
  • The audience will be able to use their microphone to ask topic related questions and get instant replies.
  • The audience will be able to see the speaker, the four panelists, and Powerpoint slides if any, and listen in on all conversations and talks, whether by the speaker, panelists or questions asked by ANY member of the audience..
  • Members need to register first. Then they will receive the link to the webinar every month. On clicking on it, they will be asked to pay online through credit card through secure online transaction for that webinar (about $30) to get the password to login

      Dr Dan Rossignol Coming from an academic background, has searched the medical literature looking for a solution after both of his children were diagnosed with autism. He has made it his mission to research and publish in autism. In the last 6 years, he has 31 publications and 3 book chapters concerning autism and related conditions.
      Dr. Rossignol has a special interest in autism spectrum disorders, PANDAS, cerebral palsy, and related neurological and developmental disorders as well as medically complex children and adults. Dr. Rossignol is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians (FAAFP).

She has held positions at the Orechovo-Zouevo State Educational University, Moscow Open State Educational University, Russian Education Academy, Research Laboratory of Movement and Personality Development, and Dolnoslaski School of High Education and Medical Academy of Wroclaw.

      Dr. Masgutova’s Masters Thesis, “Unconditioned Reflexes, Unconscious Processes and their Effect on Personality Attitudes” (1980) reflected her early interest in the study of reflexes and gave her great insight into the impact reflexes have on human development
